MONIKA XMAS LIVE 26/12 @ ΠΛΑΤΕΙΑ ΑΥΔΗ (ΚΕΡΑΜΕΙΚΟΣ) 7ΜΜ (ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΗ ΕΙΣΟΔΟΣ)

Η Monika παρουσιάζει μια χριστουγεννιάτικη συναυλία που θα πραγματοποιηθεί τη Δευτέρα 26 Δεκεμβρίου στην πλατεία Αυδή στο Μεταξουργείο, στις 19.00. Συνοδευόμενη από την επταμελή μπάντα της θα δώσει μια εορταστική συναυλία,  σε μια από τις ομορφότερες πλατείες της πόλης. Η Monika θα παρουσιάσει αγαπημένα τραγούδια από τους δίσκους της, ενώ δε θα λείψουν και οι εορταστικές εκπλήξεις. Η συναυλία θα πραγματοποιηθεί στα πλαίσια των χριστουγεννιάτικων εκδηλώσεων του Δήμου Αθηναίων και είναι δωρεάν.

Προπομπός του live υπήρξε η κυκλοφορία της Χριστουγεννιάτικής διασκευής που ηχογράφησε και μοίρασε δωρεάν στους φίλους της, η Αθηναία μουσικός νωρίτερα αυτή την βδομάδα.

H Monika διασκεύασε το κλασικό Χριστουγεννιάτικο τραγούδι “Do You Hear What I Hear?” και το μοίρασε μέσα από το επίσημο website της.

 H παραγωγή του πραγματοποιήθηκε από τη Monika στο προσωπικό της Soundlime 3 Studio στην Αθήνα, ενώ η μίξη και το mastering έγιναν από τους Markos Spanoudakis & George Laimos (aka Kreon & Lemos) στο EQV Studio.

 Tο stencil artwork που συνοδεύει κατά αποκλειστικότητα το εν λόγω κομμάτι φέρει την υπογραφή του Αθηναίου street artist Cacao Rocks.

The 59th Grammy Awards are scheduled to air on Sunday February 12, 2017, 2016 at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.

Lumiere Live @ St Paul’s Anglican Church //Sat. Dec.17th // ATH.

Athens latest classical music sensation, Lumiere, who combines piano melodies with electronics is performing an one off special show at St. Paul’s Anglican Church (29 Filelinon st., 105 57 Athens) on Saturday 17th of December.

Lumiere is the instrumental project of composer, singer- songwriter Lumiere Brother, who now follows a more classical piano path on his songwriting and earlier this year released his debut record received raving reviews from Greek music press.

His rare live performances are followed by a string quartet and a beat maker (George Koltsiou) who also has production credits on the album while the concept of Lumiere’s show is a perfect fit for the spiritual atmosphere of St. Paul’s Anglican Church .

Another Greek artist, Aggelos Panou who is also a close friend of Lumiere, will be the special musical guest of the night.

Ο Lumiere που συστήθηκε στο κοινό ως Lumiere Brother, έχοντας επαναπροσδιορίσει τον τρόπο του ήχου του αλλά και των live του, θα εμφανιστεί το Σάββατο 17 Δεκεμβρίου στην Αγγλικανική Εκκλησία Αγίου Παύλου, παρουσιάζοντας το τελευταίο του άλμπουμ σε μια ιδιαίτερη βραδιά.

Η πέμπτη κατα σειρά ζωντανή του εμφάνιση θα πραγματοποιηθεί -λίγο πριν το τέλος του χρόνου- ίσως στον πιο ταιριαστό και μυσταγωγικό χώρο που θα μπορούσε να απολαύσει κανείς τις συνθέσεις από το ντεμπούτο album του “Lumiere”, κομμάτια του οποίου μέσα στην χρονιά συγκέντρωσαν παραπάνω από 100 χιλιάδες plays σε YouTube λίστες που συντρόφευσαν την καθημερινότητα στα αστικά κέντρα.

Την βραδιά θα ανοίξει ο Άγγελος Πάνου, παρουσιάζοντας ολόκληρο το ντεμπούτο του “ Ο Νυχτοφύλακας” που κυκλοφόρησε πριν από 4 χρόνια.

Netflix premiered Hip Hop Evolution documentary

Created by the team behind Metal: A Headbanger’s Journey, and hosted by rapper Shad, a  brand new documentary titled and related to Hip Hop Evolution aired on HBO last Friday, 2nd of December.

All four episodes are looking back to the 20 year old history of the genre with most of its pioneers contributing amazing interviews and rare stories.
